Maturity

“Maturity” is my stance on understanding our effect on the environment. This garment serves as a poignant reminder that despite the availability of natural resources, we persist in generating alternatives that pose significant harm to our ecosystem. Through the deliberate use of artificial plants, my work juxtaposes the finite lifespan of both human existence and the natural world, underscoring their nature. This contrast is further underscored by our inclination towards the creation of synthetic materials such as plastics, which disrupt the inherent balance and vitality of the natural life cycle. My intention is to provoke reflection on the consequences of our choices and actions, urging a more profound consideration of our relationship with the environment and the imperative need for sustainable practices.
