Barbie X SSENSE



Creating a project that questioned “What would happen if Ssense, a retailer with its own interpretation of fashion, created a marketing project?” Through a collaborative effort, the “Y2K” trend has taken shape, but with a twist. Reaching out to the iconic “Barbie,” we created a miniature collection of three pieces, curated for an immersive experience specifically aimed for trial by our VIPs and influencers. Through the design process and structured feedback, our pieces have become a reality. Through the intricate interplay of form, texture, and narrative, this collection invites patrons to transcend mere observation, to embrace a transformative exploration of self-expression and identity. After styling a Barbie, clients are able to replicate these items on themselves by purchasing these human-sized styles on the Ssense website. Our childhood dream of becoming like Barbie through fashion is now available to the general public.
